Station 60, the Sacramento Fire Department Station that services College-Glen (3301 Julliard Drive), will be having an open house on August 16th from 2 to 4 pm.
At the open houses, the public is invited to come out and talk with members of their fire department, tour the station, and get valuable life safety and fire prevention tips. The open houses are free to the public and will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on select Saturdays.
These open houses provide a way for residents to get a quick reminder about fire safety. Plus it is rare for the public to get the opportunity to interact with firefighters in non-emergency situations.
